This key role at Designer Sign Systems provides a point of contact, responsibility and accountability for the sign pricing process. The Estimator is responsible for cost estimates and studies and the integration of cost engineering activities throughout the organization. The Estimator will ensure that the company initiatives and margin expectations are met by all DSS team members.

The ideal candidate will be an analytical problem solver with good inter-personal skills and many years of sign industry experience that includes deep and broad understanding of the materials and manufacturing processes for fabricating interior and exterior signs. This person is also comfortable in a deadline driven environment, is results-oriented, and overall interested in the Sales Team's success.

Designer Sign Systems was recently asked to match some existing custom signage at a building for the Ohio State University.  They were 3-piece signs, with a digitally printed logo, aluminum face with cut-out and ADA compliant text.  With sample in hand, we were able to accurately match their existing signs for a reasonable price.

Completed in January 2012, the Lakewood Garden Mausoleum in Minneapolis, MN was designed to promote a sense of peace and calm, an environment conducive to contemplation and healing.  The new mausoleum’s contemporary design is abundant with natural light and rich materials of granite, marble and wood, as well as artistic details like mosaics, bronze artwork and colored glass.  Designer Sign Systems helped to keep the beautiful design of the building by designing ADA compliant and wayfinding signs that complemented the materials already being used.
